Mom and Dad,
I'm sorry for being a surprise
God thought you would be happy
He and I never wished for you to be lonely
All the sacrifices you made
All the dreams you had to trade
Just for a baby you never wished and prayed

I was a mistake,
But you loved me,
Stood up for me
And cared for me
At a cost of your happiness
But, would you have had it better?
If I came later or possibly never?

Dad, you could have had
The family you never had
Mom, you could have had
The youth you have always longed
Would all your dreams could have come true
If in Mom's womb I never grew?

I'm sorry for what I did
I'm sorry for what I brought
But, I could never wish I never lived
For I know you love, no matter the cost
Mom and Dad,
I'll do anything
To make up for these things
Because you gave me a life worth living
