Y ahí estaba yo, en un lado de la frontera, donde estaba reprimida y cansada.
Luego de mucho tiempo de sufrimiento pude cruzar aquella línea imaginaria que dividía a mi país con el otro.
Al pasar esa línea todas mis preocupaciones y cadenas se fueron, todo el peso que tenía cayó.
Y aunque sabia que tenia que esforzarme hasta tres veces más para poder vivir mejor, tenía algo muy claro...
Que era libre.
And there I was, on one side of the border, where I was repressed and tired.
After a long time of suffering I was able to cross that imaginary line that divided my country with the other.
As I passed that line all my worries and chains left, all the weight I had fell.
And although I knew that I had to work up to three times harder to be able to live better, I had something very clear...
That I was free.
