Alone and Quiet

I am Alone and Quiet
I wonder why no one hears the thunder of silent woe
I hear the screams of lost souls, unable to tell friend from foe
I see a killer in black,
I want my dead alive
I am Alone and Quiet

I pretend to live other lives
I feel haunted, my shadow thrives
I touch the bodies of my dead
I worry I will have nothing left
I mourn my losses, how would things be instead?
I am Alone and Quiet

I understand my silence
I whisper my thoughts
I dream of other worlds
I try to smile, their words a knife
I hope to take control of my life
I am Alone and Quiet

Alone and Quiet
Thunderous woe
The lost souls scream
A killer in black
My dead alive
Alone and Quiet

I live other lives
Haunted
The bodies of my dead
I will have nothing left
I mourn my losses
Alone and Quiet

My silence
My thoughts
Other worlds
Smile
Take control of life
Alone and Quiet
