DEMONS-of my inner soul
The sun set,
The dusk doomed.
The moon then bloomed;
Time had come,
Eyes and soul had to be met.
Evoked pain now wanted to rest.
Eyes had to be tethered now,
As they did, I felt the burden,
The heaviness.
The heart felt clogged;
Shiver then rose,
As if legs clenched with rope.
Felt it creeping,
Coming over me,
Strangling,
Not letting my voice to be heard.
As it choked, choked me to death,
Numb I went,
Cold I felt.
I knew my lungs were full,
Throat went dry, screams turned to dust.
It held me,
Captured me.
My movements yelled through a rust,
My breath heaved.
Said to myself, I have a life to live.
Retaliated with force,
Scars on my barren skin,
Pool of red around me.
Opened my eyes – terror seized,
Just to realize it was all in my head,
And I was all alone on the bed,
Alone and dissipated.
