TIMES HAVE CHANGED

Yesterday, justice was raped for pricking their bluff
And truth had it's eyes ripped off
Lest it bears witness to the sins which
They'd left bare without atoning for with a stitch.

A dog who never barks
They'd rather hail and make king
And a tree without a bark
Is absolutely befitting.


Tell tomorrow, it's expectations
Might have been drained of hope
And left bare without a bastion.
It just might be left to mope

Homes have withered like flowers;
The fight for right is the new order.
Tell yesterday to tell tomorrow
Times have changed.
