Through all thick and thin, I was alone
Every battle I fought, I was alone
Through all pain and discomfort, I was alone
Oh! Those dark nights and dark thoughts ; Yes! I was alone.
Waiting for the peace to find me and to comfort me,
And then, Peace did find me and pacified me.
Yet, the peace was an unfamiliar one, a stranger one.
And then suddenly I realized,
Ah! That stranger is in fact YOU.
