Lately, life has been so hard;
Everything seems to be falling apart.
It's even harder not to think about giving up.
The pain, the sadness, and the hatred are coming up—
all at once.

I'm just feeling heavy.
I'm too tired to get up every day.
I'm too tired of faking that I am okay.
I couldn't help but cry silently.

I'm too tired to keep going.
I have nowhere to keep moving.
I am on the verge of breaking,
I am scared that I can't handle this feeling.

I don't want to go on...
But, I tried to put on a smile
While deep down inside
I am slowly giving up on life.
