Why can't you love the wolf?

Post by Asa Nylund »

I tried to be a good girl;
churchgoer, mother, daughter, wife
but never very good at any role.
A wolf’s tail is hard to hide.

Tried to smile, be complacent,
adapt to their will, not make a fuss-
but there would always be fuss.
A wolf’s tail is hard to hide.

I love, I laugh, I f*ck
but I can’t hide my tail.
Why can’t you love the wolf?

Sorry, I wouldn't be able to give a definition of good or bad (good & bad person) here! But this poem from you interests me for sure. Thanks!
The disappearance of the word "I am" is indeed the highest happiness! :)

Is the wolf really a wolf or a mighty warrior adorning a wolf's skin? I know a wolf is fierce, kind, lovable and not hated. The only remaining thing to consider is what does the wolf think of itself and does what it think of itself matter more than what others think of it NO matter WHO THEY ARE?

Ooh, this is fun and an interesting topic! I like the cadence of the poem.

Does this mean the tail is unable to be fully hidden and thus the narrator is unable to be loved? Says more about others and their expectations than the narrator, I think.
Journey before Destination, Radiant
