Carrying the Weight

I see the kindness in their eyes,
A warmth from strangers, sweet and wise.
Yet in the world, I feel alone,
Surrounded by hearts made of stone.
I carry the weight of silent cries,
Behind the smiles, the hidden sighs.
The love I seek, it seems so rare,
I reach for it, but it’s not there.
No bond that lasts, no hand to hold,
The stories fade, the hearts grow cold.
The world, a blur of faces lost,
A bitter wind at every cost.
I wrap myself in quiet pain,
Seeking shelter from the rain.
But through the storm, I still believe,
That love can bloom, if we receive.
So though I feel so far from light,
I hold on tight, I’ll fight the fight.
For even in this endless night,
There’s hope within the darkest sight.
A warmth from strangers, sweet and wise.
Yet in the world, I feel alone,
Surrounded by hearts made of stone.
I carry the weight of silent cries,
Behind the smiles, the hidden sighs.
The love I seek, it seems so rare,
I reach for it, but it’s not there.
No bond that lasts, no hand to hold,
The stories fade, the hearts grow cold.
The world, a blur of faces lost,
A bitter wind at every cost.
I wrap myself in quiet pain,
Seeking shelter from the rain.
But through the storm, I still believe,
That love can bloom, if we receive.
So though I feel so far from light,
I hold on tight, I’ll fight the fight.
For even in this endless night,
There’s hope within the darkest sight.
