Nighttime
by Onnalenna Nompucuko Gaborone
Nighttime, time saved
It's time that i redeem my faith.
Warm bed, time set,
I go through my lines again
But just when
I bend my head
I hear a cry that's sad
What's that?
Why is my candle burning less?
Wind pack, gust had;
I lose the gust that i had.
I stray there, stay back
only to realise it was a falter in my head - a
relapse
Coz, my compassion led!
