Tears

They told me, tears don't lie
But when I died
I could see
Deep down his eyes

Sorrow was the mask
Insignificance was the truth
No one dared to ask
What was there
Unsaid in my mouth

He was there standing beside me
Tears in his eyes
Reminiscing our journey

How beautiful was the time
When we had our first kiss
He called me his sunshine
That was the thing I'd miss

I wanted to shout
Till I got it all out
But no one would listen
Cause I was lying in a thing called coffin

I could feel me fading away
He could have asked me to stay
But with every second that passed
I seemed to realise by mistake.
