To fall
but not collapse.
To be humbled
and not humiliated.
To feel pain
but, not become bitterness.
To accept flaws
but not excuse them.
To forgive others
but not forget me.
To bend with the wind
but not break in the storm.
To stand up again,
without cursing the ground, I fell on.
To speak gently,
but with strength.
To carry scars
but not let them bleed onto others.
To walk through fire,
but not become ash.
To be soft
without being weak.
To move forward
with open hands.
To be human
and still choose light.
