My son, do not be in a hurry to drive,
When you grow up, you will buy your own car and you will drive as much as you want,
Changing lanes, positions and enjoying the highway experience,
You will drive till you will get tired of the road, and the car,
But first you need to know some highway codes!

My son, before you hit the road,
You need to check the state of the car,
Dip your longest finger inside the carburetor and check the level of oil(ibya),
If the carburetor is oily, then know that "Mbele iko sawa" (it well ahead)
You also need to carry with you some water because you will need to cool things down when things get heated up!

If the carburator is dry, you will have to oil it first before you hit the highway,
My son, we have different types of highways,
Some highways are long and narrow,
Others are broad and wide,
Whichever highway you are in, just keep your eyes on the road,
If the highway gets a little bit slippery, you will need to wear some gloves so as to grip the steering wheel firmly.

My son do not be cheated, never close your eyes while you are driving. My son, while you are driving, be conscious of the type of noise the car produces,
If the noise is sharp and screeching, it means things are not right and you may want to remove your legs from the accelerator and check the oil again,
If the sound is a gagged groan, then you need to step more on the accelerator.

My son, you need to know when to change the gears,
You can not drive at the same pace throughout the journey,
Sometimes you need to drive slowly,
Sometimes you need to drive faster,
And sometimes you need to drive moderately,
It all depends on the type of noise your car produces, and the weather!
Lastly, you need to take a bite before you start driving,
There is nothing as dangerous as driving on an empty stomach
