they see her as the public humiliation

what they don't see;
is how big her heart is
what they don't see;
is how open her mind is
what they don't see;
is how she cries her eyes out
knowing that no matter how much she tries
she'll never live to the people's expectations

Never judge a book by its cover! Beautifully written.

Perhaps describe the people more or the girl.
