When we met, there were no stars in the sky
And no stars meant that i did not see you
we talked a couple of times, then it became a habit
Still i could not feel the love in your eyes
I tried to have a quorum with my heart but
But it declined knowing you
So pretense became a game and a belief that you were not

Most of the times I felt like a cheat but the honest truth,
I did feel that you were something that was meant to be
