I think John Green truly defined genres with his endings when his books came out. Such an influential author!

The ending was definitely not your typical rom-com ending and while I was surprised, I was definitely satisfied and happy as well.

I think if it would have ended any other way, it would have been underwhelming and cliché. I enjoyed the ending because I wasn't expecting it, but it was a fitting end to Margo and Q's time together. I really think they were not meant for each other.
