A Book for Teenager

Post by Avid_Reader2 »

Hi All,

I have been looking for this book I read like 20 years ago; unfortunately I have no clue what the name of the book is called or who the author is. I am hoping maybe just one person knows the name and author of the book I am talking about.

But anyways the book is about a teenage girl whose father is shot and killed in his store; I believe he was widowed and the girl and her little brother have to go live with her aunt and uncle.

I could of sworn the book was called "Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep" but I have googled it, looked it up in Barnes & Noble, etc but it's never the book I am talking about.

So I know it's not a lot to go on, but if anyone knows this book, would you be please let me know.

It's not "Tiger Eyes", is it?
...oh, wait. Their mom is still alive. Hmmm....okay, I'm on it.
How perfectly goddamned delightful it all is, to be sure.

OMG You are AWESOME! I really think that is the book I am looking for! I have no clue where I got the "Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep" or that the mother had already passed away but it's been like 20 years since I've read it and I can't remember what I did a month ago, so go figure, HA HA

THANK YOU SOOOO VERY MUCH!
