else indigenous to the Third World. These guys make $28 an hour(with perks, er benefits), they make a living. I really
have no interest in them either. I brought them up in the interest of diplomacy, perhaps to establish common ground.
I'm reluctant to post anything to any of the "topics" available. They're just silly. Like my references to colloqualisms
I hadnt thought about in 55 years. All this talk over a figure of speech.......You know, come to think of it, I'm
repulsed by foreigners in a mob, trying to push to the front. I think thats called rugby.

Las Vegas used to be Mormon land. They sold it to Union Pacific(The Harrimans) in 1905. UP built a train station
there and later the Union Plaza when gambling was legalized(1935, give or take). UP still owns most of the undeveloped
land behind the Plaza and its stillquite a chunk. The Marriot hotel chain is a Mormon enterprise. The ones they have
in LV, save one, have no gambling(not even machines). When's the last time you were in Las Vegas? I know you mentioned seeing Red Skelton here.

Well, I can't promise to disagree with you all that much, Hank. Some of your posts are real gems. It must have been fantastic being one of your fares. You must have had them laughing all the way to the casino. And I much prefer Oscar Wilde to rugby, anyway!dindindin wrote:... COldf1re: Lets agree to disagree. What say?...

I went through there about a year ago. Its really built up now, and they are building new casinos everywhere. Marriot was a Mormon, he also started the A+W root beer stands.dindindin wrote:@Bighuey
