Re: Movies
Really makes my blood boil what these 'so called Financial Engineers' were allowed to do to people, families, communities & countries and still allowed to walk away with millions.
I watched some of the Idaho Caucus coverage recently & it amazes me the extent to which people can get worked up over abortion or gay marriage & they don't have a word to say about the really big scandal of Wall St ... talk about having your eye on the wrong target!

A world is born again that never dies.

I hear you there, Fran. Those politicians make such a big deal about unimportant things, and never look at the big picture. If gay people want to get married, so what? Who cares? Thats their business. No big deal. They worry about making stupid laws that make no sense and, like you say, dont say anything about the Wall St. scandal. I dont follow politics, its too confusing but from what Ive heard, these yo-yos who are running for office dont even know what the hell they are talking about. Also thats what big money does, if you have the bucks you can buy your way out of anything.Fran wrote:Watched 'Inside Job' last night .... amazing, there are definitely a lot of people who should be behind bars for the rest of their lives.

...my apologies to Uncle Tupelo.
People can get pretty politically charged 'round here (Madison, WI). Until a good movie comes out.

I swear, these folks in the Madi-zone have got the same attention span as a tse-tse fly...
