The Minstrel Boy by Thomas Moore
I've heard this song lots of times, but didn't know The Title until 20 minutes ago. If you've ever watched a St Patricks
Day Parade in America you've heard it. It's a standard for a Fife and Drum Corps. The rendition that is most significant
to me is Sean Connery's in "The Man Who Would Be King." He is about to meet his Fate at the hands of an angry mob
Knowing he is about to die and there's no way out, he musters his courage and begins singing "The Minstrel Boy."
You don't need to know the words to this song to feel inspired by it.

Minstrel Boy is a great song. Ive always liked it. Another good Celtic song is Barbara Allen. Sarah Moore does the best version, and Tex Ritter had a good version of it.

Caveat Lector: After I submitted this post, I replayed the Connery scene over. Connery didn't sing The Minstrel Boy
he sang "The Son Of Man Goes Forth to War" The songs are different, the tune is THE SAME(The Moreen).
