There's a series called "The Book of Awesome" by Neil Pasricha. Just simple one page blurbs of simple everyday things that just make you feel so darn good. It might be a nifty idea for an ongoing thread...I will begin...

Just as a customer with a mega complicated issue comes to your desk, your relief shows up. It is time for you to go home now. You sweetly tell the customer " Now this young man will be very happy to help you straighten this out". You scoot out the door and hope they don't inflict too much wrath on him. You are in your car and free for another day...AWESOME
