What Are Your Hidden Talents?

Inspired by the autobiography "Sicko The Stubborn Child of God written by Kwame King", I thought about all the hidden talents we bury under the carpet just to stand on one or two, if that, of our most polished and praised gifts. Meanwhile, there's so much more to the identity. I believe that this topic will bring an awareness to anyone who doesn't acknowledge how gifted they are, as it aims to awaken the creative spirit.

Write down your hidden gift(s) and just how important and precious they were to you at one point. No matter how small they seem to you now, remember to appreciate who you are in your entirety. I know you are gifted, far more than you discuss.

Here are my hidden talents:

1 - I can sew like a professional. Yup... when I was younger, I had so much fun creating handbags. The finished product always gave me hope that I would one day be a designer. I don't remember exactly when I stopped putting that talent to use or what was the reason for me stopping, but I look at this handbag that I made from time to time, hanging lonely and neglected on a hook in my closet, and remember that I have a gift next to my skeletons. The only problem is, my gift shouldn't be in the same shade as a secret awaiting the grave. Pulling out my sewing machine TODAY!!!

2 - I can dance fearlessly amongst the mass. I've danced at so many Caribbean carnivals for the culture of it, up until my late 20's. Once I deemed myself "too old to be parading in the streets", I quit dancing as if it didn't give me life anymore. Nowadays, I find myself dancing in the house for release of my negatives, thus convincing myself that I can no longer move. Is the stiffness due to age or is it my conscious? Whatever it is, the fact that I'm actually dancing again makes me happy.
