That would make a good story, Gannon. Too bad the pulps arent around any more. You could have it in one of those lurid magazines with the half-naked girls on the cover being chased by black caterpillars.

Hahahaha  BH. I think I would have to make the black caterpillar thingies a bit more menacing or the story would just be boring. In my dream they just ate and multiplied. They had like a thick carapace which made them really hard to kill and they multiplied overnight. When I woke up they were all over the world everywhere you looked eating everything. It was quite disturbing.

Maybe you were scared by caterpillars while you were a kid. I saw a movie when I was a kid, Unknown Island about these guys who went to an island with dinosaurs. For several nights after that I remember dreaming that dinosaurs were coming through the wall of my bedroom.

Just had another dream where Jack Naylor (a lovely actress from a British hospital drama - Holby City) was Peter Pan and I was racing her, flying, across the sea. I beat her easily and she became VERY affectionate afterwards. (Well you did ask!)

Funny this thread came up. I had a dream just last night, where I was visiting my brother-in-law and and I started talking to him and he started to recite Bullfinch's Mythology. Odd thing was, it seemed perfectly normal to me.

@ Pawpoint, I envy you. I havent had a dream like that in years.

Ok I`ll tell you what - I had a dream last night that we were all at school (I`m 45 btw) and supposed to be going ice skating. I had to borrow this guys ice skates, but they actually had tiny plastic discs embedded in them instead of blades. I tried skating on the ice but ended up in a forest, walking my dogs singing "Follow The Yellow Brick Road". How strange is that?

I always have nightmares about losing my husband whether he leaves me or I just can't find him. I typically have nightmares, and they're pretty crazy, but sometimes I can know that's it's not real. For Example, the other night I was having a nightmare and I knew if I pinched myself and couldn't feel it, is was a dream... and it worked! I've been told this is what is called "Lucid Dreaming" which is where one is aware that they're dreaming; I've read that when you keep a journal of your dreams and learn to control them, you can become more in control of you're dreams. which I think is pretty cool :)
