they would slit it in half, drench it in butter and garlic and grill it right in front of you...my kids still talk about it...
the drink was Tequila Sunrise served in a huge " glass " worthy of serving as a fishbowl in a pinch...
do they have those informal beach restaurants where you live ?
we used to be in swimsuits, very handy to dip into the ocean to revive ourselves from that lethal drink...
STILL miss Mexico after all these years...
Carpe Diem!

Theres a resturant in Vicente Guerreo that had a bar, but they closed the bar part. They didnt have a lot of business.
Theres a resort about 30 miles south of here that is quite popular. They have docking for yachts and big pleasure boats and a resturant. We went there once, the food is good but very pricey.

Another great eating place was in Missoula. It was a card room where these old guys went to play pinocchle and stuff, and they had a bar where they served good old home-made plain food. Piles of potatoes and gravy, steak, beef stew, breakfasts that would fill you up for a week and thick slices of home-made bread and real butter. Cholestorol heaven.
