How about if I could magically be a world class journalist with access to anyone to interview living or dead...I would pick...

Vladimir Putin-His eyes look like a cross between John Gotti and a Komodo dragon, what's not to love? If I had an on-spot translator, make it two or three...and full diplomatic protection. Like John Gotti I'm sure he would have some amazing perspectives.

Gwendolyn Brooks-I'm sure other interviews exist but I wish I could have talked to her myself. She spoke at a local college maybe fifteen or twenty years ago and passed on a few months later. She wrote openly about race, women's issues, poverty, empowerment before other people would touch such themes.

Norman Mailer-I suppose to ask "What were you THINKING?" about much of his personal life. But his personal life like his writing has been discussed from so many directions, it would be interesting to hear it from him.

Roy Rogers- He started out in vaudeville and was often quoted for his folksy humor. But if you read his words now, much of what he said makes a lot of sense. He died in a plane crash at a fairly early age...From what I've read about him he would have had so much more to give the world.

Oscar Wilde-A caustic wit ahead of his time. I can see him on the cover of "The Advocate". So Oscar, how far has pride come since your time? That would be like a three week interview...

LB, I think you mean Will Rogers. His stuff was great. Roy Rogers was a cowboy star. The one with Dale and Gabby and Trigger. I heard one of Will Rogers comments a while back, he said countries who are next to each other and cant get along should trade places with other countries and that would stop wars. Makes sense.
