I think that people should be able to speak their minds. I do think that they should be nice though when speaking their minds. It's a free country, everyone has a right to say what they want. :)

Hmmm, I don't think everyone has the right to say what they want whenever wherever they want..

I don't have the right to swear at the top of my voice in public,I would be evicted from the premises and/ or arrested.

I don't have the right to say whatever I like about other people promoting violence etc - inciting hate crimes, I think it is called.

Even on this forum, there are rules about what one can and cannot say - if I break the rules, I will be banned.


The right to say what you want has limitations in practice - and rightly so.

I agree. It's so crucial to keep an open mind. If we let biases get in the way might we not be dooming ourselves to repeat history?
