Both of those are good ones. Did you ever hear the parody of Greensleeves by The Kingston Trio? It was called Green Stamps.

I found my love in a grocery shop
Selling pickles and eggplants and bottles of pop
She asked me to try her asparugus tips
And I fell in love with her ruby red lips.

Green stamps were all she gave
Green stamps were all I took
Green stamps were all I saved
And I pasted them all in my Green Stamp book.

It was on one of their albums. They made some good songs.

I heard a funny one today, Jim's Windy Mule by The Sweet Violet Boys. They were a country group from the 1930's. It cracked me up, it was about a mule with digestive problems.

I remember one my wife and I always liked. If You Leave Me Tonight I Will Cry by Jerry Wallace. It was from Rod Serling's Night Gallery about a haunted jukebox.

What was that musical show they used to have? They had different acts on it, I remember the Rightous Bros were regulars and I think Glen Campbell. It was in the mid-60's. It just had one name I keep thinking Hootenanny but thats not it.

I cant remember what it was called. Julius Larosa, Snooky Lanson, I havent heard those names for a day or two. I remember the big deal when Larosa was fired from the Arthur Godfrey Show.
