I see many of the NBA basketball players skipping, so why did you stop?
The administrators made me. It appears that skipping presents a hazard to pedestrians in the halls. Also, Ellen Marie Kujiak* adamantly refused to go to the junior prom with me if I continued to skip. Apparently it embarrassed her to be seen with a skipper.

Well, Leporinus enyae is a small fish, and Enyae is a singer with a beautiful voice, so I thought that might satisfy both conditions of the puzzle - an edible fish and a beautiful sound to listen to - two things with the same name.
