Re: Stripe verification

Post by Casandra Sicily »

I am having a lot of trouble doing the verification with stripe. This is a real nightmare. With the passport nothing looked good for this app. I try with the driving license and when it comes to take the picture of the back of the ID its says camera not available. How is that possible. It took the first and now is not available??!!! I have neck pain because of trying. Anybody had soo much trouble?

Yes. There’s plenty of trouble with it. Mine verified me wrong and says I need to submit ID to id@onlinebookclub.org. But nobody has answered me so I can’t get paid while I wait.

Mine says my ID doesn't provide my residential address, and this is standard for ID cards issued in my country. I have emailed them explaining this. Hopefully, I'll get a response. This stripe thing is becoming a nightmare, especially when it impacts payments.

Thanks for your replies. I will try to send an email to that address. I have tried so many times that it seems impossible.

That is so weird because mine actually doesn’t have an address and it went through! I’ve tried contacting stripe, they said they can’t find any record of me on their system. They tried to help.

I agree. It does seem hopeless at this point. I’ve been trying for a while.

I also contacted Strip and they told me they don't have any information about my account and even though the process went through the verification didn't show up on my page. And it still asks me to complete the verification process. I really want to know where those personal documents are.
This is getting weird and stressful.
Life is hard on its own so let's make it easier for each other if we could.

This is getting worrying. If we're being asked to verify our identities with stripe, and it claims we aren't on their accounts, what does that mean? And who is in the wrong here?
