I never buy books unless it's for school. I also try to utilize library resources as I have limited spending money.

Not much. I might go up to 15 EUR if I really want to read the book, but I try to limit myself to more like 5 EUR or less. I've found I can get used paper books really cheap sometimes on Amazon France often cheaper than the ebook version. I guess it's probably the same for other Amazon sites.

I try my very best to keep it under $15, the cheaper the better; most ridiculous purchase was $38 for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on July 21st, 2007. I was a crazy 11 year-old Potterhead and nothing could stop me. RAAAAWR. Now as a stingier, thriftier teenager I love sifting through book expos (3 for $10 WOW), secondhand bookstores, noqstore and bookdepository. Free delivery WOOHOO.

It depends on how bad I have to have it. I probably wouldn't go over 15. I do try my hardest to get discounted or used books for obvious reasons. Its just I spend so much money on books, cause I love to read.

Depends on the book to be honest. If it came recommended I wouldn't hesitate to spend more than $20 but as readitandwept said, if its just a book I'm too cheap really. I like buying 2nd hand for no more than $5
