looking for a book

Im in need of a book that i read awhile back and cant think of the name or author! the book i believe has a red cover and is about a girl who moved from her home town because she and her brother killed her father buried him in the yard so she moved away and came back years later! everybody in the town called her names and wanted her out finally the cops dug up the farm and never found the body so i think everyone forgave her! i really cant remember but this is driving me crazy! please somebody help :(
