Found my book stash!

Post by Booklover83 »

Wow! I had a nice surprise tonight. I was looking for something in our basement and went hunting all over for it. In the meantime, I found my entire stash of books that I thought had ran off to become orphans (ie library donations). The reason this made me so happy was because I found books in the stash I had not read yet and I found my Vampire Chronicles Anthology with Interview with the Vampire in it! I have not gotten it from the library so this made me doubly happy at this point. Just an awesome night for a revamped book hound!

Damn... They've been there all that time without any care or baby sitting. Shame on you.

Haha I know right? In my defense I was not in the place they were stored in. My parents were housing them for the last few years as i did not have room in my old apartment.

Well, shame on your parents then? But aye, it's not their books.

Thats great! I had a similar experience, when my kids found all of my Robert E. Howard books in an old suit case. I thought I lost them years before.

That's awesome to find an old book stash. I remember my dad telling my about a stack of books he used to have that had some interesting things in there, so I went on a book hunt, and it turned out to be great! I was able to find Dante's Divine Comedy (luckily my dad doesn't want them back :))
