Living without carbs or with low levels of carbs is not really a life though!
That reminds me of when Jack Lalane died, he was 96 i think and he said all he ever ate his whole adult life was soy and some kind of fruit juice, I forget exactly what, but i thought to myself, why would he want to live that long if thats all he ever ate?
Exactly! Obviously the two extremes of anorexia and obesity are very unhealthy but having a decent amount of what you fancy does you the world of good and anyway, every week we hear that the heralded food or drink of the previous week is now poison in our veins. I say to hell with all the muddled agendas of the food and drink industry and sit down with a big bar of chocolate [/quote]

Far out! Im with you Im going to town and have a big, greasy delicious pizza.

^ Fran, i have replaced Bulmers with an almost daily can of Diet 7-up so moderation has yet to reach my vocabulary but in my opinion you would be more miserable denying yourself for months only to pig out than to have the odd* treat.

I know of one where you fast (no solid food) six days a week and eat whatever you like on the 7th day. It does work, and you lose a lot of weight. You also suffer a lot from hunger...

Theres some strange diets out there, there was some guy in Salt Lake City who claimed he lost a lot of weight by eating nothing but pizza. Id get sick of that after a while.

Hey there COLD~
Hate to brag...but I have my graduate degree in molecular biology and structural biology from an Ivy League school in the States...so, of course I'm aware that there are sugars in wine. :D :D :D

Carbs in food and carbs in EtOH that are different.... I'm certain you would agree that no human has ever had died of liver damage from a pizza. How about obtaining a DUI after having too much pizza? (Not that I would ever drive under the influence...it's just a reference...)

Hey there Blonde!

So we've got a blonde who knows about carbs and EtOH?

Q: What did the blonde say when she looked into a box of Cheerios?
A: "Oh look! Donut seeds!"

Q: What does a blonde and an EtOH bottle have in common?
A: They're both empty from the neck up.

Hear from you soon!

Coffee. I easily drink 1 pot of coffee a day, sometimes closer to 2. The first hour I'm up I'll have 4-5 cups. Man, I'm getting old!

Let's see... the question is:
So will you give up smoking, drinking, lusting after Lily Allen, or what?
Then there comes my answer... I think it makes sence.
Lolita. Light of my life, fire of my loins. My sin, my soul. Lo-lee-ta: the tip of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the palate to tap, at three, on the teeth.

No, I was not intoxicated. I was leaving for a restaurant and was typing quickly at the time. I made some typos and changed them when my husband and I returned.

Thanks, dear. You're a honey!

Q: If a blonde and a brunette fell off a building, who would hit the ground first?
A: The brunette - the blonde would have to stop for directions!
