I'm scared of burglars. It has only just happened. I *think* that somebody *may* have managed to steal a full set of keys to my house.

But it may be a blessing in disguise. I have realised that my house is not really secure anyway while I'm away. (I'm not scared of burglars while I'm in the house --- they can be scared of me!)

So I'm off to the hardware store to buy some heavy-duty locks and chains. Nobody's getting to my chocolate hoard!

my lifelong fear of critters in the house...i'd prefer a burglar...1 kick in the groin and he'd rue the day he ever broke in...

Blessing of the dogs is that I'm not so scared anymore. I can walk anywhere at night and people will walk in the street rather than pass my boy. We've had neighborhood break-ins...anyone foolish enough to come into our house unannounced would probably barrel through a wall to get back out...
Both of them are very strong, very protective, but actually great big lap dogs.

I love them! Why fear heights, when I'm half-way to being an angel?

I'm scared that BH's "100 wimmin" story is true. I couldn't manage that. Not without stopping for a snack halfway. 8)

Scary is living in an area where the fireworks go off for a few weeks before and after the 4th and how much they sound like gunshots...ditto, there's a gun range in back of our store and they've found stray cartridges in the lot...oooops

Basically if it sounds like fireworks and it's not July get yourself moving the opposite direction

I'm scared of getting ill in July.

That is when all the proper doctors go on holiday. In July, interns pretend to be residents, and residents pretend to be experienced doctors.

Three times as many people die from medical negligence in July, as in any other month. :(
