Not aimed at you Bighuey, but where you have people you have liars, cheats, attention seekers and mental illness and a lot of them hoax up images for their own means. Even the few 'genuine' photos I am reserved about. Plus the human brain remains untapped, we do conjure up a lot of our own hauntings by very reason that we are in a "haunted" area.
Thats not to say I disbelieve the paranormal, I don think there are other life forms in other planets and a world that continues beyond ours but as long as human beings have a hand in exploring them, corruption and exploitation will always paper over the truth.![]()
Thats a great point Fran. If Ghosts are out there wreaking havoc, why only at night. Why when the sun comes up do we not feel so afraid???

What about the movie "Ghostbusters" Fran? Plenty of ghosts turn up through the day in it, and it was based on a true story. Wasn't it?primrose777 wrote:Fran wrote:Personally I think it's all got to do with darkness and a primordial fear built into us to be fearful of situations where our faculties are seriously diminished, humans IMO are pre-programmed to fear the dark. I wonder why we fear in the first place. What causes us to fear? Can it be explained scientifically? Anyone?

My boyfriend took me snorkeling for the first time on the weekend. It was great and we also did some spear fishing, I'll be going again but living in Australia, snorkeling around rocks I have to be careful of the blue ringed octopus. Every time I go snorkeling I will fear being stung as you do not feel the actual attack but you just become sleepy and never wake up... Creepy right? The ocean is so eerie.

Oh its an experience alright. Sugar in its purest and fastest absorbed form hitting your bloodstream in a second. My eyes often fizz up the hit is so intense, ill keep a few bottles for you if you ever visit Ireland.
