That is the symbolic call of our insanity.Graverobber wrote:Welcome...the atmosphere is hospitable to strange creatures like us...though you may break out in random laughter

Don't ya think

What is grief, if not love persevering?
Grief is just love with no place to go.

And then like Himmelslicht I don't feel the rules are too complicated and a lot of them seem like common sense. But I could understand how it could seem overwhelming at first. In my experience when I am confused or do something goofy there are people quick to help me. Mistakes are kind of normal and I don't give myself a hard time when I make them... or I try not to. hehehe. I do general freak out for a moment but it passes and I just try my best to do better.
I've also had great luck with my reviews being published... it just takes some time. I don't think new reviewers coming in realize there is a lot of behind the scenes going on after we submit our review. I think there is just time before they get to it (since there are a lot of others also submitting reviews)... communications with the author.... editing and whatnot.. and then I think they might space out the releases a bit. So they all get some air time and none get lost in a sea of new reviews published all at the same time. But I honestly have no idea I just theorize. hehehe But it does take some time. I think time between submission and getting published mine have ranged from 3 days to two weeks or something. And they have been published in a different order than what I submitted them in... which further implies that there is some discussion going on that they need to wait for feedback on before they can continue toward publishing them. Plus over the holidays and whatnot... people get busy. So it might have been slower over the last month maybe?

I submitted a review 3 days ago. I'm still waiting but I'm not trying to annoy anyone because I know that new people trying to review books appear all the time and many lose patience and never come again. But everything worth waiting for takes time. I wouldn't be too worried about that.
Meanwhile I'll just keep reviewing books because I love to read, ehe.

Maybe I was imagining it. But as I said, I'm not worried
