It can feel fleeting an empty if your art is only supported by others perception. And varies constantly.
For me, as long as I value and love what I create that is primary and key. Worked in the fine arts, performing and visual for 20 years. Toured Europe, etc. Written for stage.. Thing is.. Over the years I learned is.. I will always create. Regardless. There will always be someone who doesn't like your work, or think you are great. Do you honor and value it? I do. That's why I kept at it. The 'value' from others is icing on the cake, and rewards. But, the best reward is the journey as an artist. Whether that be a writer, painter, etc.
In my next life I would love to be an Architect. Or installation artist. These are two forms of art that I dearly love. Some of my favorite 'artists' fall in this category.
Hi there RobinCarvacci. Is your art that has featured in the TV series, "Heros", the paintings that were painted by the guy who painted the future? I loved the style of those paintings.
