AT:For a ton of money: Which of "the mental defectives " commits suicide toward the end of the movie?
This veteran character actor plays an orderly in Cukoos Nest. He also acted in another film that Nicholson
starred in. Quien esta?
Ken Kesey, who wrote the book, said his work was greatly influenced by the time he spent as an orderly
in a Veterans Hospital in Northern Cailifornia. During the same interview he revealed the most striking aspect of
that experience. He wrote it into the book and it becomes part of Nicholson's dialogue. Which of the following statements best expresses that thought:
1. None of the patients had ever kissed a women.
2. Patient care in a Veterans Hospital amounts to application of drug cocktails chosen at random from the PDR.
3. The patients, for the most part, didn't object to their detention in the hospital. Furthermore, when they were given a chance to leave, they were adamently opposed to it. They were so afraid of the world beyond the gates of the hospital, that it never became an option.

(And #3)
AT: I will have to ask you to put those back on, Jack...
In the category of Films for 1.00...this actor famous for his rants once stood in a courtroom and told the Judge that not only was he out of order...the whole courtroom was. Actor and Name of Film please...

I can't remember the fellow's name(dinwit? dimwit? ......let's call the whole thing off), but he was spot on.
The answer you gave reaffirms that fellows estimate of you. Which we ALL do!!! (Next time give his last name
as well and immortality will be yours buh, buh, buh billy bub, bub, buh bibbitt). Well no matter. KUDOS!!!
(Also, veteran character actor was Scatman Crothers).
JN: You want me on that wall, you NEED me on that wall!!
TC: Colonel Jessup. Did you order the Code Red?
The Judge: You don't have to answer that Colonel.
Jessup: You goddam right I did!!
Judge: MP's: Arrest the Colonel.
JN: Who is Al Pacino? What is "And Justice For All." The judge was played by Jack Warden, who took Pacino for
a ride in his chopper, but neglected to tell him there wasn't enough fuel to make it back. Before I retired, I had
one of the other actors in my cab: Christine(SP?) Lahti. The ride was to the JW Mariott in Summerlin and lasted
45 minutes. Poor Miss Lahti!!! I had just drunk TWO quad espressos and asked her questions faster than she could answer them. I can't help it!! It's the filmnerd(filmnoire?) in me. As the Marriot came into view(it's a real haul from
McCarren) I realized (duh) what a terrible host I'd been(no sh*t, din, really?) When we arrived at THE DOOR, I hustled
to open her door, bowed as she exited the cab, and did the only thing I'd done right all night long: "Your money's no
good here, Mr. Lahti. When I drink too much espresso, I turn into Columbo. Lo siento mucho." She smiled and said
"YOU SURE DO!!" Then she winked. All was forgiven.
JN: You interrupted me j*rkoff!
clint: kuh kuh kuh kiss my....
AT: For a mega gazillion dollars: In "The Last Detail" Nicholson plays a Navy lifer excorting a prisoner to the Brig.

CE: <squinting>
AT: I'm sorry Mr. Eastwood are you having difficulties seeing the catagories?
CE: (...pulling out a 357 magnum...) I always look like this. Do you find that funny? Do ya, PUNK?
AT: ...who was Dirty Harry?...*gulp*
C-HC: Excuse me guys...I think the correct answer was "Who was Randy Quaid?" And although I would love the gadzilliondy extra dollars...I have no clue who the Brig guy was...
I'll take "Strange Books of the 60's" for 5 Billion.
AT: In this 1962 sci-fi tale a burst of meteors blinds all life on Earth...leaving them helpless to be eaten by walking man-eating vegetation which has been growing innocuously everywhere.
CE: You've got to be sh...ing me.
(from far away...) watch yourself Clint...he's the bull goose looney...

topic. How are you today, Carla and Clint?
CE&C: Your sisters whore Trebec.
AT: NO SHE IS NOT!! Is nothing sacred?! My sister is a lovely woman with a storied academic past. She was the first
student in her HS to finish in the top 10 of The Nerdy Spelling Bee Monopolized by Indian Immigrant Kids. She
spelled meloveyoulongtime without hearing it used in a sentence. She is presently an eighth year medical student
at the GaryIndianaGaryIndiana Medical Institute. I'm so proud of her.
CE&C: 8th year? She should have been done by now. What's holding her back?
AT: Her orals.
CE&C(convulsing in laughter)Her ORALS? That's too bad. You would have thought that sort of talent would run in the
family. You must have done well on yours, Alex. You've been hosting Celebrity Jeopardy for a long time.
AT Too long. Back to the hunt. For 80 Large, This actor played one of the first detectives on Law and Order. Later,
he acted in "Goodfellas" and "The Cooler". This actor is a former US Senator from Tennessee. He played The DA
after Judt Weist left. Name him.

AT: Brig Dude was Michael Murphy. He played an Assistant DA on Law and Order. Which also happens to be todays

AT: Unfortunately, yes. Ever since Mr. Brando fell off the stage. The plants help muffle it at times. Anyway...as I was saying my sister had great difficulty with her orals...
C & CE: Still doubled over in laughter..."He said ORAL"...
AT: Enough...you stupid Americans with your "Bevis and Butthead" humour...and the time has expired on our prior question in the Book Catagory. The answer was "What is The Day of the Triffels" one of the more horrible literary pieces to survive the 60's. Moving on...
CE: Who is Al Gore.
Bzzzttt...
AT: I'm sorry Mr. Eastwood. Not only is that incorrect it is bordering on mental retardation..and they let you be Mayor of Carmel for HOW long????
C-HC: "Who is Fred Thompson, Alex?
CE: I remember him...he had that kids TV show with the trolley and the bad sweater...always thought he was creepy myself.
C-HC: Alex, I will take Books for 80K and a rudimentary attempt to give a nod to the fact this is a BOOK CLUB, afterall...
AT: Whatever.
CE: Never read 'em.
cintessential: ZZzzzzZZZZ
AT: This 1977 Horror Novel Title was inspired by a lyric in John Lennon's "Instant Karma". In 1980 Stanley Kubrick transformed it into an award winning motion picture. The Author: Stephen King.
