Lucky you, Fran. You win a gift certificate for a free dinner of pancakes boiled in cabbage juice with a side order of snake lips at Barrelhouse Annies Road Kill Cafe. Congratulations!

CF will be back soon, last I heard he was on an expedition to Darkest Africa to capture more hedgehogs. 8)

I was born in Paisley and now live about 8 miles away. This is where Gerard Butler hails from. Not sure if love him or hate him but hey-ho!

ooo We went to Casa Loma, that is one amazing house!

Have you ever been to Casa Loma?

I forget how that guy made his money.

I really liked Toronto except it was rather bigger than what we are used to, but it was fun visiting.

Taylor Swift had a summer home not too far from us. She still visits our area during the summers. Also, Oprah Winfrey used to have a Summer Home near us. Her boyfriend Stedman Graham grew up in the town next to mine. He went to high school with my brothers.

We are watching a murder mystery series on Amazon called Murdoch Mysteries. It is set in Toronto at the turn of the century. Very interesting.

We really enjoyed Toronto. It was a very pretty place for such a big city. I had never seen so many lanes of traffic before, not even in Mexico City.

OK maybe Oprah and Taylor are right up there with Shakespeare and James Dean.

If we were giving prizes you would get one for that.
