What books did you buy? :)
Oh! They were old copies of Goosebumps books, translated to Japanese! The first two! Welcome to Dead House and Say Cheese and Die!
I have always loved Goosebumps. Even the cheesy movies they made of them. :D

They made movies?!?! Why didn't I know about this!?!?

Okay, so since it's December now, I am doing good. So far, NO money has been spent on books for this month.

So far I have spent $20 on books; It's Christmas! I had to buy something for myself, put it under the tree and enjoy opening them on Christmas day. I got so many great deals yesterday at books-a-million I just couldn't help myself.

Ha Ha That's great Ylisa! I can't believe you are now just joining.. ;) So - I was in the book store and found: The Antelope in the Living Room by Melanie Shankle, Seriously Delish: 150 Recipes for people who love food (BAMM had so many cookbooks on sale) and The Long Way Home by Louise Penny. With sales and my discount I got a pretty good deal.

What books did you borrow from the library?

they actually had 4 seasons of them, so I guess they are more television shows, but still very cool. Here is a link to a site that lists the episodes:

I just looked up The Antelope in the Living Room. That sounds like a fun book. I interrupted reading the one Louise Penny book I own for the library books. I have to read the loaners first  Ooohhh…cookbooks. I love cookbooks. So may recipes and so little time, lol.

I got NOS4A2 by Joe Hill which I am really enjoying. And also picked up Above by Isla Morely, Deserves To Die by Lisa Jackson, and Two Sisters by mary Hogan. I may return the other three because I have books coming in on the interlibrary loan system :)

Ah, okay I knew about the TV shows. I think I watched a few of them, but I wasn't too impressed. I might watch some of these at a later date. 8) So cool!

Ohh these sound really good. I just looked them up; how many books do read weekly/monthly with your Projects taking up so much of your time?

While remodeling I have only read 2 books so far in December. I usually read about 2 books per week depending on the length.

I just finished Tell The Wolves I'm Home. I really enjoyed it but it wasn't as great as the hype.
I still have Station Eleven to read.

More of my books came in :D Here are the books that came in :D
Cinnamon and Gunpowder
A Thousand Splendid Suns
The Snow Child
Geisha
Hotel on the Corner of Bitter And Sweet
Room
Memoirs of an Imaginary Friend

I'm excited….we will be taking a break as soon as the kitchen goes in. I will be reading more :D :D

How is your reading going? It's tough this time of year.

I am trying to find more time for reading. Next year my goal is to read at least 2 books a week. I received a few books and gift cards this Christmas, so I may not have to spend any money at all in January on books. In fact, I am in the process of loading up my Ereader right now. Enjoy that break :)
