I have always loved Goosebumps. Even the cheesy movies they made of them.ALynnPowers wrote:Oh! They were old copies of Goosebumps books, translated to Japanese! The first two! Okay, so since it's December now, I am doing good. So far, NO money has been spent on books for this month.

I finally joined my library yesterday and I borrowed 4 books:) I now have 11 books on hold

they actually had 4 seasons of them, so I guess they are more television shows, but still very cool. Here is a link to a site that lists the episodes:ALynnPowers wrote:They made movies?!?! So - I was in the book store and found: The Antelope in the Living Room by Melanie Shankle, Seriously Delish: 150 Recipes for people who love food (BAMM had so many cookbooks on sale) and The Long Way Home by Louise Penny. With sales and my discount I got a pretty good deal.

I just looked up The Antelope in the Living Room. That sounds like a fun book. I interrupted reading the one Louise Penny book I own for the library books. I have to read the loaners first

I got NOS4A2 by Joe Hill which I am really enjoying. And also picked up Above by Isla Morely, Deserves To Die by Lisa Jackson, and Two Sisters by mary Hogan. I may return the other three because I have books coming in on the interlibrary loan system

Waiting for me Is:
Tell The Wolves I'm Home and Station Eleven.

Ah, okay I knew about the TV shows. I think I watched a few of them, but I wasn't too impressed. I might watch some of these at a later date.rssllue wrote:they actually had 4 seasons of them, so I guess they are more television shows, but still very cool. Ohh these sound really good. I just looked them up; how many books do read weekly/monthly with your Projects taking up so much of your time?

I just finished Tell The Wolves I'm Home. I really enjoyed it but it wasn't as great as the hype.
I still have Station Eleven to read.
More of my books came in

Cinnamon and Gunpowder
A Thousand Splendid Suns
The Snow Child
Geisha
Hotel on the Corner of Bitter And Sweet
Room
Memoirs of an Imaginary Friend
I'm excited….we will be taking a break as soon as the kitchen goes in. I will be reading more

How is your reading going? It's tough this time of year.
