No I may never, I can usually spend around 4-5 hours for reading a book if I do not have anything else to do and if I'm completely free and, of course, if the book is interesting. According to an opinion research survey the fourth Harry Potter novel and David Beckham's autobiography are among the books least likely to be finished by Briton. Can't say I'm surprised to see Harry Potter on the list.

Maybe this is considered cheating but I travel to Europe quite often and I finished 4 harry potter books on my flights.......because I had the audio book and just put them on my ipod!! I sat back, relaxed, and off to hogwarts I went! It was soooo enjoyable and relaxing!! The man who does it has great voices for the characters and they have fun string chamber music in the background!!!!

Yeah, i do believe also that a person can finish reading a book in just one day. Only if he will choose to read all day and do nothing else.
I tried it in some books i have but never with a harry potter book. 8)

I think if you really like the book, you'll read it pretty fast!

It's definitely possible. I remember reading Book 7 when I first got it in one day. Took me almost the whole day, but I didn't read it in one sitting. Took several breaks. But the smaller books could definitely be read in one day, even a few hours in the case of Book 1

Well, the person might be able to finish it, but I doubt he/she will enjoy as much as I do reading slowly, browsing through every chapter.

I had to read it in short bursts at the library, because I can't borrow it. But I'm pretty sure I finished the first book in around 2-3 hours. Still remember everything important.

I know it is, because I did it with every one. Not so much because I enjoyed it that much, but more so that I would finish before my friends and have bragging rights. Muaha.

I finished Deathly Hallows in one day. I was so desperate to see how everything would wrap up.
