I hate when you go in & the trailers have started and you're standing there like a complete fool totally blinded and your being urged to 'pick somewhere quick & sit down' and you can't even see the floor let alone the tiny little floor lights.

Ha ha happens all the time to me Fran, usually because my workmates cant arrive on time so i never walk in front because then YOU are expected to lead your merry little group to a seat even though you cannot see a thing! The blind leading the blind. So i hang back and let the leader do the work. And at Storm the only source of light is the screen (useless as it flashes black) or tiny blue lights on the stairs-great

Hmmm.. I dont know about California but every one of the places i've been have left the lights on until the actual movie starts. It's bright through the trailers and everything up to like a minute before the movie part of the movie. THen it's pitch dark. I've been to a couple that have the floor light things but i hate them... they distract me.

Haha, well in Cali, at least some of the nicer ones, they have lights on kind of dim on the walls. They're not blinding, but they're enough to guide you to your seat safely.
Though once the movie starts... Haha, you only have whatever comes from the screen, I've gotten my legs stuck many a time... Such is why I never leave for the washroom haha.

SOo.... since we are on the rant thread...
I think my ex gave my computer a virus. I went and had it cleaned out and fixed and not even two weeks later and i have another one. Ugh. So now it's getting cleaned AGAIN and i'm on my moms.
I was rather afraid i got it from one of my favorite sites.... but i'm thinking it was him now since he knows all about my computer and is a computer genius.
Tip: Dont date men that can hack your computer and give you bugs. Ugh. That sounded wrong...

I guess this statement should be on the happy thread but it amazing how many new people have joined this forum since summer and long may it continue, its great and livens up the forum. Its hard to believe that only in January and February there used to be two-day gaps between new posts and that was usually only on the Wordie thread (remember that Fran!), and the place was a lot quieter. :D

Thats true Mike!
It was all sad and depressive but now with us loud ennoying people it's not only lively but striving! I'm pretty content about that as i'm sure you are as well. I can't imagine not having this site here nor not knowing the great people i've come to know here. :D

Haha, no addiction is good.

But do we really care?
