Y'know how some childhood experiences influence your life forever? That's my indelible impacter from when I was a kid. Really, my father gave me many wise morals when I was young. I've applied those morals to my life since, and have been a better person for it.

sportsguy33 wrote:No thanks. My father died of liver damage, and I guess it's from that experience as to the reason I don't drink. The thing is: he wasn't a drunk or anything related to an excessive drinker, he just drank a lot. Not to mention that liver damage runs in that side of my family. He would mix coke and jack on Sundays, and I'd sit next to him and watch football. I could smell the musky aura of the drink and it made me nauseous.

I know what you mean, thank you for sharing this story..its very heartfelt.
My dad drank..coke and jack too..it was his favorite. But my dad and mom always gave me good morals to live by, and like you I've applied those ever since.

But then again, the legal age for drinking here is 19, so I've been drinking legally for 4 years.awelker wrote: its strange im 19 years old and i get drunk with my family. they are bad influences on me. lol. jk.
