Pinnochio- since that was the basic plot of Avatar under all the 3D gimmicks and flashy effects

Titanic and Avatar are both good and must-watch movies.

I think both movies are junk.

But...

I think the only value is in the effects and in the fact that regarding the technologies they are über progressive. I watched both of them in a local cinema, it was a special experience regardless of the artistic fail.

My english isn't good enough to describe it, but i would say it's a pile of s**t packed in a really high quality bag.

Couldn't agree more.

Well the only movie i like by James Cameron is Titanic, which is a very nice and sad movie, the special effects are great, Leo and Kate were wonderful and found the movie very sensitive
Avatar has very good special effects but i didn't like it that much,Yes it got alot of money but everyone of us has different taste in movies.

Thanks

Titanic was... I don't know. I cried when I saw it at the age of 11, but I don't really think there is much to talk about.

A big ship crashes, people die, some of them with honor, some of them not, a fraction survives. A hot chick loses her lover, she'll definitely get a new one by her looks.

I'm probably too sarcastic to like Titanic.

Titanic. It was a real movie. Avatar was a silly fantasy. Fine and all, but at the end of the day it's just a cartoon.

I agree with bookworm, I saw part of avatar but I wasnt impressed with what I saw of it. Titantic was ok but highly overrated I think. Too much like a soap opera.

I can't really compare the two since they have different themes.
But in general I will go for Titanic

can't really compare these two because of the different time they appeared and the different subject.
If I really need to pick one that would be Avatar!
