Anyone remember Dr. Demento? I used to listen to him when I worked graveyard. He played some pretty wild stuff.

Yep. Loved "Fish Heads". Not sure if Julie Brown's "Homecoming Queen's got a Gun" was part of Dr. D's promo schtick, but I seem to associate the two...
How perfectly goddamned delightful it all is, to be sure.

Nothing makes me laugh like the 'Silly Slang Song by Eric Bogle' ... YouTube it if you don't believe me

Listen to the song Online by Brad Paisley. See the video clip Online on YouTube. It sums up (part of) the internet.

"Lightening Bar Blues. Written by Hoyt Axton. There are many versions, but I like Arlo Guthries best.
Give a listen to Arlo's priorities."I don't need no diamond ring, I don't need no Cadillac car, I just wanna drink my ripple wine down in the Lightening Bar."

Most modern country hits I hear are a tremendous joke.

This one loses the bulk of it's comedic edge if you don't watch the video...

I don't want to be misleading, so before anyone watches this you should know, the song is not intended to be particularly humorous.

I am going to sound very old by saying that 'Disco Duck' is the funniest/stupidist song I can think of.

How about Rubber Ducky? I always got a kick out of that. My wife hated it, she thought I was weird because I liked it.

Tom Lehrer sings "The Periodic Table of The Elements" I don't if this is the exact title or not, but that's what
he does. First heard it my freshman year in college. Our physics teacher introduced himself the first day of class,
then said This is a synopsis of the curriculum we'll be following. He queues the record and Lehrer takes over.

Another favorite is "How Can I Miss You When You WontGo Away" by Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks> Well that's all
for now. Hey Big Huey, I gotta ask, is you're lastname Huey or Luey?
