Merry Christmas everyone! and thank you Scott and everyone for this wonderful forum :D

I'm not here as much lately with the craziness of work over the holidays, and my personal issues but I sure miss all of you...

Christmas will be different this year as my mom will still be in the hospital. But she has also been my greatest gift as she is still with me. I'm going to the hospital tonight to decorate her room :D

With Mom still being in ICU I'm hoping they will let my babies in to see her Christmas Day. Will be talking to the nurses tonight about that.

Cheers!!

I am going to be celebrating my first Christmas in PA with my boyfriend and his family. I might have to spend Christmas Eve alone but I'm going to take a nice long bubble bath with candles and hot chocolate. I can't wait for it all! I do miss my parents and family, but it'll still be an amazing Christmas!

No way, thats a dumb man way to do it! All the crowds, jostling, pushing, shoving, losing out on bargains, finding a parking space etc, bloody nightmare in my opinion!

I visited the Christmas Markets today which was great as always. I just love the feel and atmosphere around the city centre where the stalls stretch out from the Town Hall. They always have wonderful things (although at ridiculously inflated prices) but I love buying a bag of roasted chestnuts munching as I browse, bravely and with extreme strength bypassing the fudge stall but unable to resist the macaroons and then buying a whole container of mixed olives for my dad, an extremely large (and I mean super super size) double belgian chocolate muffin for my sister. It was even more fun this year since I was showing my cousin who's only recently moved to England and has never been to a Christmas Market and has never seen snow before until today, so we really enjoyed it. :D

Travelled to Birmingham today and visited the German Christmas market, really enjoyed it ( food was great ) but found it a tad expensive, had a good time anyway. :D

I bought a Santa hat and other christmassy stuff. I'm putting on a magic show along with some show tune numbers at a soup kitchen for Christmas. It'll be a Christmas I'll never forget and, hopefully, they won't either. :D

I always dug magicians. I saw Blackstone when I was a kid, he was amazing.

Ah, man. Unfortunately I've never seen an actual magic act, but my uncle used to show me all kinds of trick in return for good behavior. Taught me all I know :']

I had a book of magic at one time and learned a few tricks but that was years ago. I dont remember any of them any more.

I remember visiting Hamleys in London when I was younger and there was a box full of magic tricks and instructions on how to do it. The demonstrator guy showed us a couple of the tricks and I thought they were so cool and had no idea how he did it so I bought the box and when I found out how it was, the magic of the illusion just disappeared and I stuffed it away. From then on I just prefer watching magic without trying to figure out how it's done, keeps me more entertained that way!
