Actually, I was looking for "lawn" but grass will do.
1) A lawn (or grass) if kept tidy can make a home look beautiful, but if it is not tended it will become untidy and overgrown with weeds and vines and may give the house a sinister appearance.
2) Grass grows higher than clover so it can hide a four-leaf-clover or shamrock.
3) Grass in some form exists in almost every populated land.
4) Unwelcome relatives of grass are weeds which can sometimes destroy the looks of a lawn and often kill the grass, but humans often come to the rescue with weedkillers or even physically extirpate the weeds.

Welcome, @Wy_Bertram! It's @tjportugal turn as he guessed the answer on @DATo's riddle.

Before ancientness, before all, I exist, and continue to persist in my existence so far beyond that I can see the other end too.

No, but close enough. It's the state that God has. It exists outside time.

Yes, @DATo, it's eternity. Infinity would have worked too, but I was thinking at its synonym - eternity. Well-done!
Your turn.

I can appear at any time, but I often visit in Spring.
Sometimes I am ferocious and harsh, and sometimes mild and gentle
I help to make things beautiful.
I help to make things healthy.
I linger with you for awhile and then return to the place from whence I came.
What am I?

I would say the rain, but I'm not so sure it fits the last statement (?)
