I won't drive on the highway.
I love a big stack of wood.
I spell horribly. I can spell better when I'm typing verses writing.
I love the smells of Libraries, the Ocean and just after the rain starts.
I only am truly comfortable at about 74 degrees.
I have no UV protection, which makes me allergic to the sun.
I think I'm a rock star although I don't play an instrument.
I have laughed so hard I peed my pants.
I binge read.. I'll get on one author or subject and read all I can by them/about the subject.
Some days I can talk non stop for hours....
(I drive myself crazy but I can't stop)
other days I'll go hours with out saying a word.
one more thing: My home town is Petaluma,California.
It is home of The ugly dog contest,Egg and Butter day parade
and is the only town with it's name.

okay there's a few weird things about me..

i whistle like a pro.. but it used to never be that way.

here's the story:
It all started when Derek was a young boy.. in a family of 5, poor little Derek was the only one in the family who didn't know how to whistle. After years and years of being ridiculed for his inability to whistle he decided he would either learn to whistle or try until his lips fell off. For about a month he walked around blowing inaudible air through 'fish' lips until one day he finally made a sound. He continued to whistle away the rest of his life.

that was about 5 years ago now. i hope you enjoyed my story.. a memory retold out of sheer boredom ;)

· I have a dream of moving out in the middle of nowhere where no one can bother me and I can be a hermit. Maybe when I am old.

· I really am scared of clowns. Come to think of it anything that is dressed up. There is this restaurant called Red Robin and a freaky bird walks around.

· I miss my Grandma a lot. She died years ago and we were really close. I have a lot of her books. I also have some of her ashes in a demdaco case with a picture of an old lady hugging a girl on it.

· I like to save money. I mean I REALLY like to save money. I am a little psycho about it. I go to a number of websites and research further ways to save money. I also like to work with people on their debts. Maybe I should have gone into finance for work.

· I love juvenile delinquents. I find working with them amazing. However if you give me a room full of “normal kids” I would probably kill them. They bore me and act entitled usually.

· I like to cook but to be honest, I know I suck. I think my husband has an after dinner ice cream addiction to sustain himself from my disgusting cooking. But hey, I try, right?

· I have OCD. I take meds for it but sometimes they don’t work. Sometimes you will find me up at 2am dusting things or alphabetizing my movies or something. One time I made my kids legos all go the same way.

i ride a royal enfield (a classic motorcycle), the only girl to do so in my town or in a 300 kilometer radius.
i almost never attend classes and whn i get pathetic grades, i just tell people that i have learning disability (i might, actually, never got myself checked for it).
i feel suffocated in cities.
i have been trying to quit smoking for a year now.
i was an alcoholic at the age of 21.
i have a guitar that i cant play.
i had a crush on a gay guy. (i am a girl and as straight as they come)
i have exams in 14 days time and i am hanging out here.

Thanks for digging up this old thread, U! It's been fun reading.

Why don't you go to class if you have enrolled in a course? Didn't you choose what you wanted to study? Do you find you hate the subject now?

hi gemmie! well i love the course bit it is the faculty that i dont like. the education system here is weird, to say the least. asking questions is not encouraged, the faculty we have is into teaching because their practice failed to take off and they are all extremely bitter people.

if one is not in the top 5-6 law schools in the country, this is what they have to face.

I hate driving. Never got my license and if things go well I never will.

I don't like to drink. My friends tease me about this regularly because somehow not drinking makes you unmanly.
