Re: What am I? Riddle-Game

Is the answer something we might see a rendering of in a museum or place of worship? A painting or statue?

It can be represented by all the above; it can be a fictional character or a real person. You can see him/her in a movie or you can walk down the street next to him/her.
But the answer is based on the title of the individual.

I see. I was going for a painting of a man and woman - men and women of course are real as would be the painting itself, but the painting depicts a fictitious scene therefore a fictitious couple. As crazy as it may sound I was leaning toward the painting, 'American Gothic'. *LOL*

Probable Incorrect Honorable Mentions:
Not Adam and Eve.
Not parents.

Could it be...
Policemen(women) ?

It's not a policeman (although he could carry the title for an act of courage); while at others, it could be manifested by a superpower.

Your turn.
That was a good one InStoree!

I am a place where many people go every day - though they have never been here.
I can grant wishes - but there will be a price to pay in return.
My name, universally known, evokes fearful thoughts of dangerous travel in uncharted climes.
The king of my realm is bathed in riches.

What am I?

One more clue:
My name also evokes the immediate thought of the feminine gender .... but not femininity.

One edit (a typo):
The first clue should read "... have never been THERE" (rather than "HERE").

One clarification:
"What am I?" could be replaced by "Where am I?"
Either works but "What am I?" I think is closer to the point.

It's always a price to pay... :snooty:

I'm still searching in the "archive" of my mind.

In which of the things you mentioned do you have to pay ($$$) a price?

Feminine genre that evokes fearful thoughts...

Let's see... Mom. But I can assure you that she doesn't grant wishes.

...and the only fountain that cross my mind is Fontana di Verti.

In rest, I have nothing. 🤷‍♀️

Think "feminine". The name is used in various contexts but the one I am looking for requires money to "grant your wishes" and is a contemporary household word (or expression).

Actually you have already mentioned part of the answer in one of your earlier posts. There is just a little bit more needed to have the PROPER answer.

I don't think I know this place, DATo. Both, the Amazon and the desert (Sahara desert, jinni, Pyramids), are rich in their own way. I have nothing in this wishes-direction from Amazon, and Morgana girl is just a mirage.

Or could it be a Church? Its King is also rich, and there is that "poor box" where you leave some money, but it doesn't "evokes fearful thoughts of dangerous travel." There must be something related to the Amazon or the desert.

As soon as you tell me, I'll invest a dollar in this place to grant me a wish. The best part, as far as I understood, I don't even need to go actually there, so it might work 🙂.
