lololol, you said it as a joke, but by jove IMHO you're right!.....
i go thru 2 doz. eggs a week a by myself and have always had low cholestorol....( Dr. Robt. Atkins was right ! )...." healthy " fats " are essential for good health....it's SUGAR that's the culprit, along wthe trashy white flour, that squishy toilet paper bread etc., ( which all turns into sugar anyway )
let's face it, it's not in a doctors best interest to study " preventive medicine "...is it?..... in all of their many years in Med school, only a few hours are devoted to nutrition..............the result?.... record breaking Diabetes 2, ( even in children ) obesity, heart probs, etc...........
much easier to take a pill, than to cut out junk food...statins, diuretics, beta blockers, etc...are the order of the day...
the pharmaceutical companies love it!...lots of money in treating " symptoms "...and the patient is happy, ( Americans LOVE pills )............they'll do anything to continue on their " empty calorie " diet...
End of rant!...whew, i feel bettuh!

last time i saw yolks so intensely colored ( psychedelic orange ) was when i lived in Acapulco many moons ago...

I am terrified of starvation. I know that's a fear for everyone but the fear was so bad when i was a kid that I would hide food in my room because I was afraid of people taking it away from me. And I had this terrible feeling of never knowing when I was going to be able to eat again. Because of this I was definetly an over weight child because the thought of hunger of any kind would throw me over the edge eating. This fear doesn't make sense seeing ad my family was never cruel, I never went to bed hungry and they never held the 'bed without dinner' punishment over me. We are a blessed family that has never had problems keeping food in the house. So No one can understand it. It took me a very long time for me to realize I probably wasn't going to starve, especially considering my weight at the time.
Even now I have to train myself to chew on a celery stick everytime the 'one dime can feed a child' commercials come on instead of eating every item in my fridge.
